What You’ll Do:
Employment Services Specialist (Credentialed 1+ years experience) Key Responsibilities

Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one and group-based employment supports tailored to client needs.

Coaching & Training: Conduct community-based job coaching, travel training, and skill-building exercises.

Job Search Assistance: Assist clients with resume writing, job searching, and interview preparation.

Workplace Navigation: Support clients in understanding workplace expectations, professional communication, and soft skills.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of all services provided.

Collaboration: Work closely with vocational rehabilitation counselors, employers, and support teams to ensure client success.
Job Skills Trainer (Credentialed - After UNTWISE Certification) Key Responsibilities

Train and mentor individuals in job-related skills.

Develop personalized strategies to support success in the workplace.

Assess needs and tailor coaching to meet unique goals.

Provide constructive feedback and encouragement.

Help individuals build confidence and independence.
Our Requirements:

Credentials: Must possess one or more valid UNTWISE credentials (Job Skills Trainer, Job Placement Specialist, or Work Readiness Instructor).

Note for Non-Credentialed Applicants:
-
Applicants must obtain the Job Skills Trainer certification ($135 fee paid by the applicant to the University of North Texas) before being considered for hire. This online certification is valid for 3 years.

Background Check: Must successfully pass a Criminal/Sex Offender background check.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).

Professionalism: Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Tech Literacy: Basic computer skills for documentation and professional communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with disabilities and diverse populations.

Familiarity with vocational rehabilitation systems and supported employment practices.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply
